The Michaywe Pines Course features secluded fairways winding through beautiful white birch and pine forests along the AuSable River. Strategic bunkering and a minimum of water hazards add to the character of this unique classic style course. The Pines was the site for the 1991 and 1996 Michigan Amateur Championship tournaments.
After 32 years, the Pines course was completely renovated and restored in 2004 by Don Childs, the original architect. Every hole features tee boxes carpeted with bent grass sod and each bunker is deeply shouldered with Bluegrass sod and filled with high quality sand. The positioning of the bunkers allows for a wide approach area into most of the greens.
The Pines course is quite female friendly due to the forward tees for the ladies, yet it plays over 7000 yards from the tips requiring strategies from tee to green on every hole.

2010 Golf Events & Tournaments
The Michaywe' Pines Golf Course offers more than a full season schedule of golf events and tournaments - it offers "community"! If you are looking to join in on leagues, scrambles, fundraisers, and many more types of golf and social events, Michaywe' is a great place to spend the summer. Our "Michaywe' Golf Association" supports the Pines Course with excellent participation in numerous golf events linked to awesome social and volunteer activities.
Annual Season Passes are available that include unlimited play on the Michaywe' Pines Course. Rates and applications are available for Michaywe' Property Owners as well as public golfers.

League Tee Times
Due to the holiday there is no league on Monday, September 6th.
Congratulations to our new club champions JoAnn Kraut and Nick Lubnik and our Match Play Champions Jeanne Crenshaw and Jeff Ford.

Nick defeated our runner up Jeff Ford in a sudden death playoff. The ladies runner up was Rita Dickie.
Our "First Flight" winners were Donna Renton and Dick Cyrul.

Junior Golf Program
The Gaylord Area has an excellent Junior golf program that includes golf clinics, tournaments and mini camps. Michaywe is proud to participate in this program. For more information visit Gaylord Area Junior Golf Association.
Michaywe hosts the 2010 GAJUGA tournament on Wednesday, August 18th. The event will be a 1:00pm shotgun start for all participants.
There will be an optional lunch offered. It will be $3 and include a hot dog, chips and pop.
The driving range will be available for the kids starting at 11:30am until the 1pm shotgun start.
